Thomas has spent several years in the Bellingham area working with youth sports through the Whatcom Family YMCA and the Environmental Education for Youth through the Explorer’s Club.
Thomas began working at Bellingham Physical Therapy in January of 2016. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. He is certified in delivery of LVST BIG treatment for patients with Parkinson's disease and similar disorders. In his practice Thomas utilizes a combination of manual therapy techniques to address tissue restrictions and improve joint and soft tissue mobility. Therapeutic exercises are utilized to improve control throughout the available range of motion as well as to improve strength and stability.
Thomas believes patient education is an important aspect of rehabilitation and that understanding the nature of their condition can help patients in the rehab process as well as to prevent future injury.
Thomas lives in Bellingham with his wife, Shalini, and their daughter Ameera. In addition to working as a PT, he enjoys a variety of athletic activities such as basketball, softball, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and camping.
