Patty joined the Bellingham Physical Therapy team in 2013. She graduated from Western Washington University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Exercise and Sport Science. She is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as an Exercise Physiologist (ACSM EP-C) and through Gary Gray Institute in Certified Applied Functional Science (CAFS). She worked as an aide and personal trainer in a local clinic where she found her passion in the physical therapy field. This led her to the Whatcom Community College Physical Therapist Assistant program. She graduated from the program in 2010. Her continuing educational background includes Kinesotape, Muscle Energy Technique, Gary Gray Institute, Institute of Physical Arts, and Maitland Australia courses to name a few.
Patty enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, helping them achieve their physical therapy goals. She feels everyone is their own “athlete” and finds joy in helping them return to their chosen activities. When not at work, she can be found adventuring in the mountains or on the water.
